But that's not what you get with your COIT-trained technicians. What you get with COIT is your choice of either offsite or onsite multi-step cleaning methods. The best method depends on your goals and your unique situation.

Offsite Full Immersion Cleaning:

Offsite full-immersion cleaning is the deepest clean you can achieve for an area rug. With this method,

• We pick up your rug and take it to a facility where it is examined, lifted and tumbled or vacuumed to remove embedded dirt.
• it is cleaned with a mild color-safe shampoo.
• Then we do spot treatments, we rinse and hang to dry and thoroughly vacuum.
• We’ll bring your rug back to you, deeply cleaned and contaminant free.

This process can take 1.5- 2 weeks. This method is recommended for natural fiber rugs such as wool, as well as heavily soiled or contaminated rugs. We also offer repairs, decontamination for moth infestations or pet urine (see related services below).

Onsite Cleaning:

• Pre-treatment (We don't just spray, clean and dash). We allow the pre-treatment to dwell so that it loosens the soils, just like when you soak a dish in the sink—it cleans up more efficiently.
• We do a gentle agitation to make sure all the fibers are treated.
• We do spot treatments to remove anything that hasn't dyed or bleached the fibers.
• Our powerful, truck-mounted extraction is done with a clear rinse to make sure there is no residue left in the rug.
• We do extra dry runs to ensure your rug dries more quickly.
